​Center Publishes Article on Global Social Work in Transition Economies

An article titled The Global Social Work Frontier in Countries with Transition Economies: Examples from Cuba and Moldova was completed in December and submitted to the International Social Work journal.

Center Presenting Research at the
CSWE Annual Meeting in October 2013

Members of the board are planning to attend the 59th annual meeting of the Council on Social Work Education in Dallas, TX, USA on October 31 - November 3, 2013. The members will be submitting proposals for a panel discussion and peer-reviewed presentations.  The topic of the proposed panel discussion is currently Social Work Education and Practice in Countries with Transition Economies: A Blueprint for Reform. A proposed peer-review presentation will deal with comparative analysis of various social work education standards.
